TOOLS Mag-Beads-Streptavidin
TOOLS Mag-Beads-Streptavidin provide a stringent method for immunoprecipitation, protein interaction studies, DNA-protein pulldowns, and purification of biotin-labeled proteins and nucleic acids. Biotinylated molecules are simply added to the streptavidin-coated magnetic beads for binding. By applying magnetic attraction, TOOLS Mag-Beads-Streptavidin -molecules complex will be temporarily immobilized at tube wall,so the other parts in supernatant can be removed easily and efficiently. The binding capacity of TOOLS Mag-Beads-Streptavidin is about 12nmole biotin per mL. TOOLS Mag-Beads-Streptavidin provide Fe3O4 beads coated with dextran of an average ~1 μm in diameter. Streptavidin, about 60 kDa, is coupled covalently to dextran. TOOLS Mag-Beads-Streptavidin are supplied in phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 0.02% Tween-20, 0.09% sodium azide and 10% glycerol.
